  FAQs and Support

What information do you store?

We retain certain information for our records to allow us to record your participation. User course completion notification is also provided. Your information will not be shared with third parties. If the course included application activities, your responses are stored and you may download your response. We will not use your answers for any other purposes.

I need to take a break from my course. Can I finish at another time?

Courses must be completed within the course access period listed on the Course Info tab. While you can stop and come back to a course/module segment, each module incorporates information from the previous one, so it is best to set aside specific blocks of time when you will be able to focus on the course without disruptions.

Your progress will be saved as you advance through the module and complete each segment. Please note, the videos segments are unable to be fast-forwarded (per completion requirements). It is recommended that you watch and complete the video segments in one sitting, as your progress here cannot be bookmarked. If you need to leave during the middle of a video segment, you will need to start the video again from the beginning.

You may leave the module and return as needed, using your Login set up during the registration process to re-access the course(s). As long as you complete the entire course within the overall course access period listed, you will have access to the course content.

How do the pre- and post-test activities count towards my completion of the course?

The pre- and post-tests support you to gauge how you are responding to the learning. While there are no grades for these activities, they are required to progress within the course.

Can I download the videos and content?

No. You must watch the course videos through this site. Modules and module segments are only available as you complete the previous content, so if you were to watch a video outside of this site, you would not be able to progress within the course. Course materials and application activities are available in a downloadable PDF format by going to the Table of Contents page.

The videos won’t play.

There are several reasons that you might be having trouble viewing the videos. Some things to try include:

  • Make sure you are using the most up-to-date version of your chosen browser
  • Make sure you have either the latest version of Flash or you are using a browser with native HTML5 support
  • Verify your Internet connection is still working
  • Give the video time to load before you view it
  • Close other browser tabs and windows
  • Open the course in another browser

If you are still having difficulties, please contact us.

Do I need to use Flash player?

Safari (5+): HTML5
Chrome (any version): HTML5

Firefox (21+): HTML5
Chrome (any version): HTML5
Internet Explorer (11+): HTML5
